Aladdin and lamp story
A long time ago, there lived a boy named Aladdin with his mother. They were very poor. One day, a man came to their home and said: “Aladdin, I am your uncle. I want you to work with me. I will give you good money in return.”
Aladdin had never seen his uncle, but the man seemed to be generous with his talks. As Aladdin and his mother had little for their livelihood, his mother believed that the uncle would take good care of her son. Therefore, Aladdin went away with his uncle in the hope of earning money and returning.
However, the uncle was actually a wicked magician. He wanted to use Aladdin for his own benefits. One day, he took Aladdin to a mountain. When they reached a cave, he said: “Go inside and get the lamp. I will give you this precious ring in return.”
As Aladdin looked inside the cave, he saw lots of precious jewels. He entered the cave and managed to find the lamp among the jewels. Then he picked up the magic lamp and went back outside
As Aladdin raised his hand out, his uncle refused to pull him out. The happy magician said: “Give me the lamp first.” Aladdin refused to give the lamp, so the magician locked him there. Aladdin was alone in the cave. After some time, his hand accidentally rubbed the lamp.
Suddenly, a Genie appeared in front of him. The Genie said: “I am the Genie of the lamp! I am your servant! Master, I shall grant you three wishes!” Aladdin smiled and said: “Take me back home!”
And just the next moment, Aladdin was staying at home. Then, he narrated the whole incident to his mother. Now, they realised that it was a magic lamp. They were happy and had all their wishes fulfilled. Aladdin and his mother became very rich with the help of the magic lamp.
On hearing about Aladdin’s new life, the magician went to Aladdin’s palace dressed as a lamp seller. That day, Jasmine was alone at home, and she didn’t know about the magic lamp. She thought it was an old lamp, so she gave it to the lamp seller and took a new lamp in return
Immediately, the magician rubbed the magic lamp and ordered the Genie to move the palace and Jasmine to the deserts of Africa. There, he locked Jasmine in a cage. When Aladdin came back, he found Jasmine missing. He rubbed his magic ring and asked the ring’s Genie about his wife.
The ring’s Genie told Aladdin about the incident. He got angry and asked the ring’s Genie to take him there. When they reached the palace in the deserts, the magician was not there. Aladdin met Jasmine and made a plan to trick the magician. Then, he hid away.
When the magician came back, according to the plan, Jasmine pretended: “I am ready to live as your slave forever!” Listening to this, he took her out of the cage. Meanwhile, Aladdin found his magic lamp and ordered the Lamp’s Genie to punish the magician.
When the magician was dead, Aladdin ordered the lamp’s Genie to take the entire palace back to Aladdin’s kingdom. Aladdin and Jasmine were delighted to come back to their land. Now, they had nothing to fear and lived happily ever after
